My Story

My name is Jeffredia Mitchell. I was born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin but now identify as a North Carolinian after calling this place home for over 10 years. I am a mother of three and an independent life insurance agent.

My story began about 10 years ago when I was introduced to the world of life insurance. At this time, I didn’t actively pursue my license, but I am firm believer that, “what is meant to be will always come back to you.” Fast forward to now, I have successfully obtained my life insurance producer license. By furthering my education, I now have a better understanding of annuities and life insurance policies and in turn, can effectively set my clients up for long-term success. I am an expert in S&P 500, guaranteed interest rates, explaining annual statements, creating illustrations, explaining illustrations, partial/full surrenders, surrender charges, 1035 exchanges and interest rates on loans. I have also earned certifications in anti-money laundering and elder abuse prevention.

 

Since 2020, I have lost an tremendous amount family members, all while studying for my license. My family was forced to start many GoFundMe pages to cover funeral costs and other life expenses and debts, due to being underinsured. This further developed my passion for the importance of life insurance and financial literacy. My most recent lost, was the passing of my sister; and what hurt even more, was that I was not able to educate her on the importance of life insurance before she passed. It is my goal to educate my entire family and all my clients on how to prepare for an untimely death and to educate my community on financial literacy.
